Job Summary

One of my clients in the Maynard area has an opportunity available for a part-time Accounting & Office Manager to join their team. This person will be responsible for three areas: general accounting, clerical/admin, and compliance. The company will train on all accounting and compliance related areas and will assist with the administrative piece if needed. See below for a summation of the role:

General Accounting:

- entry level AP/AR related tasks

- some billing components

- processing expense reports

- year end form 1099s


- coordinating events with their office in Houston, TX

- scheduling travel

- ordering office supplies, sending mail, acting as contact for property manager and general office tidiness

- filing, copying and scanning of documents


- keeping compliance manual up to date

- maintain SEC compliance documentation

The hours for this role are flexible. Ideally the manager would like the person to work Mon-Fri to fulfill the 25-30 hours but are open to a Mon-Thu schedule as well. The start time is flexible anywhere between 9am and 10am.
