Leading UK Recruitment Company, Aston Carter, Expands to North America

Hanover, Maryland — April 25, 2016 — Aston Carter Inc., a leading provider of recruiting and staffing services, announced today the global expansion of U.K.-based Aston Carter, bringing its strong reputation for service and deep knowledge of the global accounting and finance landscape to North America. As a part of establishing Aston Carter in North America, Aston Carter will operate as a division of Aston Carter, leveraging Aston Carter’s recruiting and staffing roots and presence throughout the U.S. and Canada. Aston Carter will retire the Stephen James Associates name, joining together similar business lines under one global brand.

Founded in 1997 in London, England and acquired by Allegis Group in 2011, Aston Carter is a distinguished global provider of recruitment and staffing services to companies requiring highly specialized business professionals. Aston Carter will continue to focus on Stephen James Associates’ core business disciplines of accounting and finance as well as governance, risk and compliance. There will be no changes to the company’s structure or internal operations; the most prominent change will be the transition of the Stephen James Associates brand to Aston Carter, including the website, brick-and-mortar locations, and all collateral materials.

Aston Carter’s global success and brand recognition coupled with Stephen James Associates’ established network and success in North America made the expansion a natural decision in order to streamline operations and deliver the best customer service across the globe. Stephen James Associates currently operates more than 40 offices across the U.S. and Canada, adding to Aston Carter’s existing international network of more than a dozen offices across the United Kingdom, Belgium, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Singapore, Sweden and The Netherlands.
