If you are offered a consulting project in the UK via Aston Carter, you will be required to supply us with all relevant compliance documentation as per the requirements set out by Aston Carter, the Home Office, and our client. Aston Carter provides an industry-leading approach to consultant onboarding with efficient processes, robust monitoring, and audit functions to ensure a smooth onboarding experience and regulatory compliance. This process can take anywhere between five to 10 working days depending on the requirements set by our client.

In most instances we will process your payments on a weekly basis as long as we have received an approved timesheet within the deadlines set in your welcome pack. If you have any questions about your payments or on this process, please contact:

Payslips, P45s and P60s can be accessed via Activ8: https://activ8.activpayroll.com/AllegisGroup/
P60s will be issued to all PAYE contractors who were both employed and received payment before 5 April. Any contractor that was employed but did not receive payment until after 5 April will not receive a P60. Any contractors that cease employment before the 5 April will not receive a P60.
If you are due to receive a P60 this can be accessed via the Activ8 portal by no later than 31 May.

We use AVIVA as our workplace pension provider. Subject to eligibility you will be automatically enrolled after 12 weeks on the assignment. Once enrolled you have the option to opt-out. If you opt-out within the first 30 days enrolment any pension payment made will be refunded. If eligible, you will be required to make a weekly contribution to your pension and Aston Carter will also make an ‘employer’ contribution.
